Day 1

Your guide sets up a picnic lunch on a quiet hillside — fresh bread, local cheese, olives, fruit, and wine — and you eat in silence, surrounded by nothing but rock and sky. By late afternoon, you're back at the hotel, sun-tired and ready for a candle-lit dinner on your private terrace. Day 4

Ihlara Canyon

Your guide takes you south to Ihlara Canyon, a green river gorge carved into the volcanic plateau. You descend 300 steps to the valley floor and walk along the Melendiz River, past poplars, orchards, and dozens of painted cave chapels carved by Byzantine monks in the 10th century. The frescoes are vivid, the setting is serene, and the only sound is water running over rocks. Your guide stops at one chapel in particular — tucked into a quiet bend, with intact frescoes and light pouring through a single window. Day 5
